​​There are rare moments in life when you make a connection with someone that is complex and easy all at the same time. You identify in a profoundly rich way. It's shocking, it's refreshing, it's unexpected. The only way you can think to describe it is, you both must be "torn from the same cloth". Our dance vocabulary, our individual styles, our artistic intentions, our personal beliefs-we were truly were torn from the same dance cloth. ​

​​​We both love the meaning of Newfangled, and feel it wonderfully describes the work we hope to create. We want this work to impress upon people in a way that is innovative and memorable.
